Sustainability Charter

The EPFL Innovation Park Sustainability Charter was launched in August 2021 to reinforce and share our commitment to sustainability and to engage our community of companies on the same journey. In April 2023, 35 companies, representing 1'188 employees, have signed the Sustainability Charter.

EPFL Innovation Park is part of the STI Directory

As a member of the Swiss Triple Impact directory, the EPFL Innovation Park is committed to addressing 4 major themes that respond to the challenges of sustainability by contributing to the Agenda 2030. More info here.

Bus line extension

The extension of the bus line TL1 to the EPFL Innovation Park has now been confirmed. The bus will take a direct route from Lausanne main train station to the new terminus located on the Colladon parking area. The journey time will be approximately 25 minutes from Lausanne station. Work on the Colladon car park will start by the end of May and the line will be open as of 21 August 2023.

This line will run to the Ecublens VD, EPFL/Colladon terminus, only during peak hours from Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, the line will continue to terminate at Lausanne, Maladière.

FairPark, the new carpooling platform

After a first successful trial with about 400 participants in 2019, the use of FairPark, the carpooling platform, had to be interrupted due to the pandemic.

EPFL Sustainability and the EPFL Innovation Park are reactivating this platform in order to continue the promotion of carpooling on EPFL campuses. There is indeed a strong potential for pooling individual motorised journeys, the benefits of which are both financial and climatic.
